training update

Had a good run at the Otley AC club handicap yesterday morning. An undulating course (about 65% off road) around the estate of Harewood House between Leeds and Harrogate. For the 4.25 mile route my time was 28:37 - my best on that course by almost a minute. The stags were a bit worrying though - as was the dog that attacked John Armitstead.

Very pleased with that considering I did a 5.55 mile tempo run the previous afternoon (36:28) with a stiff wind.

This morning's fartlek went very well too, especially after a late night at a friend's birthday party.

It seems to be all coming together now ... except for the email I received at about 7.00pm yesterday (more about that later).
