Yesterday I ran around Fewston and Swinsty Reservoirs in the beautiful Washburn Valley (again !!!). Apart from getting out on a long run I was checking the route of the Washburn Valley
Relay - an event I organise for local clubs which this year will be on Friday 17 July.
Wonderful weather made the 32 miles rather special, and I was particularly impressed by my strength over the final three or four miles, especially considering I didn't consume any food at all whilst running.
I've also arranged three meetings for helpers which will be held in Leeds on 3, 9 and 10 May. If you would like to help please email me for further details about these meetings.
Another long run tomorrow but probably on the Leeds Liverpool Canal this time - hope the weather's just as good.
