Spent most of yesterday doing DIY about the house. Mainly building a new handrail, banister, spindles for the stairs. Everything is still slow and painful at the moment - even thinking hurts.
Anyway, as it turned out my measurements were all wrong and five hours work sawing, assembling, glueing, staining, etc came to naught as everything was about three inches too short in the end.
I was angry, Fay was angrier ...
No DIY today (I'm not allowed) so I wrote the post event press reports and attached a few photos before sending them out. Crew member also Helen returned my mobile along with a small present - some coffee, from Java (one of my favourites, too).
Recovering ... slowly.
